Completed Google Course: The Power of Statistics
I’m proud to share that I’ve successfully completed the The Power of Statistics course, authorized by Google and offered through Coursera.
For me, statistics is not just theory — it is the mathematical backbone of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. This course deepened my understanding of the statistical foundations that power predictive modeling, experimentation, and intelligent systems.
Throughout the program, I strengthened key competencies directly relevant to ML and AI development:
- Probability & uncertainty modeling: understanding how randomness and distributions influence model behavior.
- Statistical inference & hypothesis testing: evaluating model performance and validating results with confidence.
- Experimental design & A/B testing: designing controlled experiments to improve models and decision systems.
- Bias, variance & data variability: interpreting overfitting, generalization, and model robustness from a statistical perspective.
- Evidence-based decision making: translating quantitative results into reliable, real-world insights.
This course reinforced an essential principle in my AI journey: strong models are built on strong statistical foundations. As I continue advancing in Machine Learning — from classical models to LLM-driven systems — statistical rigor remains central to how I design, evaluate, and deploy intelligent solutions.
